Lyndon SGB is providing £5,000,000 of expert scaffolding and access on the enormous, brand new Google ‘Landscraper’ central London HQ, set to house 4,000 Google workers.
The exciting, cutting edge construction project, which runs alongside the railway lines cutting out of Kings Cross railway station is one of the largest in Europe, measuring 300m long – 10m longer than The Shard is tall!
Twenty Lyndon SGB scaffolding operatives are working fully designed multiple tube and fitting and HAKI scaffolds on the 12 floor site, including scaffolds over one of the UK’s largest hung steel frame structures currently under construction, by main contractor Lendlease.
Lyndon SGB Regional Manager, Joe Freaney said:
“This is a huge project – Google HQ is one of the largest construction projects currently underway in London – and we will be providing scaffolding and access on site for five years. To be able to demonstrate the provision of our modern, safe, fast and productive scaffolding services for such a landmark C21st construction project and innovative brand is fantastic.”
