We are thrilled to have been nominated for a Carillion Values Award – for our scaffolding and access solutions on the prestigious Cooling Pods project at King’s Cross with the leading main contractor.
The award was nominated by Carillion Project Manager of Kings Cross Infrastructure, James Ramsden and is specifically for being 707 days ahead of schedule and without incident in 10 months of scaffolding operations on the construction site in North London, which is adjacent to the all-new HS1 line.
Carillion grant these prestigious awards for “living our values to the full and making tomorrow a better place for colleagues and customers” – and we are pleased to be playing a part of their ‘target zero’ safety campaign.
Lyndon Scaffolding has already been presented with an award by HS1 on behalf of the project team for “outstanding work with no issues during the whole process.”
They said: “Lyndons have worked with ourselves and the client to produce a seamless operation and their efforts and hard work is testament to living the Carillion values – working together to achieve and delivering and caring about the clients key assets, namely HS1 ensuring the concept becomes reality. Extremely well done.”
Lyndon CEO Rob Lynch said: “Congratulations to all the Lyndon team of designers, scaffolders, site managers and the SHEQ team for their hard work on a challenging project for our client. To be finished early, incident free on such a complex job and recognised for that by such a prestigious client is just what we are aiming to achieve as a company.”
A Values Award Presentations will be held on the 15th May 2017 at the M6 16-19 Carillion project in Sandbach, where we will be presented with our Values award certificate in celebration of our achievement, by Carillion management.
