Our going green zero emissions mission 🌍 here at Lyndon SGB has gained even more momentum – as we have just taken delivery of the second batch of our Cat® Lift Trucks EAME full #EV ⚡️ electric forklift trucks.
We have two three-tonne machines with extended forks and a larger five-tonne machine with extended forks to help with the loading and unloading the larger items of kit – to add to the existing zero emission fleet added earlier this year.
SHEQ Director, Mark Collinson says: “This is the next step in our scheme to replace all of our diesel powered forklifts at all of our yard locations with ultra modern, low carbon, energy efficient electric alternatives. These three machines have gone into the Manchester MASTCLIMBERS™ branch to assist with the movement and handling of our MASTCLIMBERS™ fleet. Our MASTCLIMBERS™ equipment already had impressive low carbon credentials and is one for the most environmentally friendly ways for our customers to procure access on their projects. With this latest investment it has just got even greener.”

The yard forklift drivers are all fresh from their familiarisation training from the manufacturer and are now looking forward to getting going properly with the state-of-the-art kit.
