Lyndon lads Ian Hines & Luke Caldicott will be running The Great Birmingham Run half marathon on the 16th October for Cancer Research UK & The Stroke Association.
Luke said: “Anyone who knows me, knows I’m not exactly the athletic kind! So it’s going to be a bit deal to do this run. I’ve lost two stone in the training already.
“We have both picked charities that are close to us, and have affected us in one way or another. I picked the Stroke Association as one of the lads I worked with had a stroke. And Ian knows people who have been directly affected by cancer.”
